Chris RodriguezTour Leader
Chris was born in Bronx, New York. His family then moved to Central Florida, where he got his first taste of surfing. After high school, and some time in the military, Chris moved to San Diego to live by the beach and explore all the west coast has to offer.
Chris enjoys all outdoors activities including surfing, hiking, camping, volleyball, and tennis. After playing volleyball at Mesa College for a short while, Chris decided that he enjoyed the social aspects of sports more than the competitive side, so he now plays for fun. He also enjoys shooting pool, playing the piano, and talking about nothing.
Chris has a passion for surfing and traveling to different surf breaks, while experiencing different cultures. His surfing has lead him to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Cabo San Lucas, and Australia.
Currently, Chris is currently a senior at SDSU in pursuit of an engineering degree. He has yet to decide whether he will work for the community as a water resource / environmental engineer, or pursue an aviation career in the military.
